Description: This photograph speaks of difficult complex feelings towards a city. Memories, the circumstances in which I lived with my family and the people around me.

The feeling of stifled creativity, without the strength to fight, leads to a scream/explosion for freedom and the will for a better life. It took a lot of patience to reach that explosion. The emotions finally came to the surface for everyone to watch.

About the artist: Hello, I'm Dunja Škundrić from Pančevo. I'm currently finishing Applied Arts at the ceramics department. I graduated from the Tehnoart High School in Belgrade in 2018 and enrolled in Applied Arts the same year.

​I had my high school exhibition in the Politika building in Macedonian, and my graduation exhibition was at the Balkan 2023 cinema. My theme in ceramics is Egypt/death is just the beginning. My main sculpture in ceramics is a mummy with scarabs. I research photography, I do painting, acting, and scenography.
