SENSE OF FREEDOM
Paul Andrei Patlagica

Description: The concept of the work started from the feeling of freedom that we all want. In the former communist states, this feeling was repressed by many methods, but what they could not repress was tradition, fashion, music and art. Hence the idea of carrying on the tradition until the moment of death.

About the artist: I am a graphic designer full of surprises with experience in marketing and advertising, a professional photographer in the free time, a videographer at a national radio station and a person who tries to break down barriers through the creatives he makes.

My artistic adventure started in 2019 when I started to discover the illustrations. I always wanted to make illustrations that break certain patterns. Along my path in graphic design, I participated in numerous competitions, one of which I even won.

For example, a collaboration with Pepsi that helped me exhibit my photos in the subway in Bucharest. Even now I'm trying to lay the foundations of an art gallery where I can exhibit one of the projects I've been working on for over 2 years.
